Is Yolfi a Custodial or Non-Custodial Payment Service?

Yolfi is a non-custodial payment service. This is a fundamental aspect of how we operate and an important guarantee for our users.

What Does Non-Custodial Mean?

Non-custodial means that Yolfi never holds, stores, or controls your funds. Instead:

Payments are sent directly to the merchant's wallet address configured in the dashboard for each blockchain.
Funds transfer directly from the buyer's wallet to the merchant's wallet with zero intermediaries.
Yolfi does not hold merchant funds at any point, ensuring full control and security for merchants.

Merchant Setup - A merchant configures their wallet addresses in the Yolfi dashboard for each supported blockchain (Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, Solana, Tron).
Payment Creation - A payment link is generated specifying the amount and accepted cryptocurrencies/chains.
Direct Transfer - When a buyer completes payment, the cryptocurrency is sent directly to the merchant's wallet address.
No Intermediary - Yolfi facilitates the transaction but never touches, holds, or has access to the funds.
